Nissan considers sending its Z sports car into the outback

Nissan has been using “Warrior” nameplate for the off-road-going modifications of the Patrol and Navara in Australia. It may soon add a Z to the list.

The local patent office has recently received a trademark application for a “Nissan Z Warrior”. No other details have been provided, but it sounds like the automaker may want to release a rally-focused version of its Z sports car inspired by the SEMA show concept from the last year (seen in the gallery and the video here).
