Premium vehicle manufacturer Polestar has announced an intention to expand its performance EV lineup to combat the ongoing financial difficulties.
Following the launch of the Polestar 2 BST liftback, other driver-focused vehicles with the same suffix will reach the market. According to the company CEO, Thomas Ingenlath, the idea is to force competition upon BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche Doing so without truly powerful and prestigious cars in the lineup isn’t going to be possible.
Aside from model number 2, Polestar is currently offering models 3 and 4.
