Around four years ago, Japanese tuner Rauh-Welt Begriff (RWB) released a heavily modified Porsche 911 (993) Carrera. The sports car gained improved brakes and suspension, a set of PUR Wheels LG07 with a golden finish, a body kit that comprised 17 parts, and lots of interior enhancements. Today, the same team revealed a similarly tuned 993 Turbo. Let us look at what is the same and what is new.
First and foremost, the car rides on a set of 18-inch Forgestar M14 rims painted matte black. In our opinion, this represents a welcome step away from the gaudy golden finish of the PUR Wheels. Then again, your opinion may differ.
The wheels are extraordinarily thick for their size (13.5 inches in the rear) and come wrapped in Pirelli Corsa tires. They fill out their extended arches perfectly due to a KW Variant 3 suspension lowering kit. A peek behind the spokes reveals high-end Stoptech ST40 brakes with vivid-yellow calipers.
This particular Porsche 993 Turbo sports an exclusive paint called the BASF Riviera Blue, wears the abovementioned 17-piece body kit, and has a handcrafted exhaust system.
The interior houses Momo Super Cup bucket seats, a Unique Fabrication roll cage, and a Momo Mod 7 steering wheel.
How do you like this one by RWB?
