DP Motorsport unveils Porsche 911 The Speedy Irishman, costs €198,000

Tuner DP Motorsport has a history of customizing Porsche cars. Examples of their previous projects include the Porsche 935 DPIII and the Porsche 911 Targa-Speedster. Today, we are treated to yet another such project, titled “The Speedy Irishman”.

The team began with a fresh Porsche 911 Gen. 964. The car was rebuilt using custom body panels, lending it a more muscular and sporty appearance, and received all-new suspension. The stock wheels were swapped for retro-style forged ones by Fuchs.

The interior has also received quite a bit of attention. Standard seats were replaced with Recaro ones wrapped in brown leather and fine-meshed fabric. The entire floor is carefully laid out with beige mats. The dashboard, the wheel, the center tunnel and the doors sport Alcantara finishing.

The team decided against messing with the drivetrain, leaving the stock 3.8-liter engine rated at 325 hp (242 kW) and the five-speed manual transmission intact.
