Singer unleashes 4 Porsche 930 Turbo restomod lineups

Singer Vehicle Design, famous Porsche restorer and tuner, has announced a large-scale project dedicated to the semicentennial anniversary of the Porsche 930. The company will be issuing as many as four restomod lineups called Coupe, Cabriolet, Targa and Slantnose, each equipped with twin turbos and manual transmission.

Only 25 Slantnose units will be made, and unofficial reports are coming in that there will be only 75 Coupes. The Cabriolet and Targa production quantities are uncertain right now. What we do know is that every car will be based on a 911 (964) chassis with steering, brakes and suspension upgraded to the highest spec. The bodywork will be fabricated from carbon fiber, likely driving up the prices well into the six-digit USD territory, although Singer provides no estimates here.

As for the engine bay, it will be occupied by a 3.8-liter Mezger flat-six boosted to 517 PS (510 hp / 380 kW). Customers will be able to choose between RWD and AWD, but the transmission will be manual no matter what.
