Aftermarket wheel company Dotz has unveiled a fully customized BMW Z4 Coupe at the ongoing 2018 Essen Motor Show. Aside from the brutal-looking exterior, the car gained a brand new engine.
The so-called BMW Z4 Project DD2.JZ comes powered by a 3.0L 2JZ-GTE V6 engine sourced from a fourth-gen Toyota Supra. The engine has been thoroughly upgraded and now outputs an impressive 608 hp (453 kW) along with 720 Nm (531 lbft) of torque.
This became possible owing to a new exhaust manifold, a large intercooler, a pair of Garrett GTX 4088R turbochargers, and a performance exhaust system with 100 mm pipes, among other things. The full list of changes is actually much larger than that, so let’s not go into too much detail here.
The custom-built Z4 also sports a set of 19-inch Dotz Misano Concept wheels that aren’t even available for separate purchase yet. To fit these into the arches perfectly, the tuner asked Lowrider.at for a suitable air suspension.
A hand-painted livery by Knud Tiroch, a popular car aerography artist, adorns the entire body of the car alongside a carbon wide body kit from Slek-Design.
The interior of the vehicle uses lots of leather and Alcantara.
Now, isn’t it just splendid?
