Polish interior customizer Carlex Design has presented its own take on the new 2025 Mercedes-Benz G-Class (W465). It retains the stock engine, but gets an upgraded exterior and cabin.
The design inspiration can be traced back to the 1970s, but the result looks reasonably timeless. Chromed aprons at both ends, a classic tri-point star badge on the hood and carbon-fiber fender flares sum up for an image that’s clean, elegant and coherent. More chrome accents can be found on the mirror covers, windshield wipers and window bezels all around.
As an interior specialist first and foremost, Carlex has utterly transformed the cabin of this G-Wagon. The new trim involves generous amounts of high-quality perforated leather with manual embroidery and embossed ornaments throughout. The trunk area ended up with walnut wood lining, and the headliner was dressed in Alcantara.
The car is known as the Sabbia, which is Italian for “sand”. If you take a closer look, lighter sand hues are indeed dominant in its color scheme.
Carlex never mentioned the pricing, but specified that most modern G-Class vehicles including pre-facelift models are eligible for this transformation. Customers may choose their own colors and trimming materials from a vast list, but those looking for a powertrain upgrade will have to visit another tuner.
