Tesla has begun unveiling its updated model 3 lineup with a premiere in Europe, where the battery saloon is already available to pre-order starting from €42,990.
Updated exterior parts include front bumper, hood, headlights, taillights and wheels. The infotainment tablet retains the same dimensions, but gains a half of an inch of useful screen size thanks to a thinner bezel, now measuring 15.5 inches corner-to-corner. Rear seat occupants enjoy access to their own 8-inch display that doubles as a multimedia screen and an HVAC control panel.
For the buyers in Europe, Tesla also promises a stalk-free steering wheel like in its more premium models, immersive ambient lighting, improved windows and better noise proofing all around.
Last but by no means least, the 2024 Model 3 offers 10% more range than the pre-facelift version. The company says nothing about battery size, but it does mention that the car has been further optimized to reduce drag – from an already low 0.23 to just 0.219. We suppose this is why the Standard spec now gets 513 km (319 miles) of range per charge and the Long Range gets 629 km (391 miles).
