Zenvo’s newest V12 is among the wildest ever made

Danish firm Zenvo Automotive has unveiled the engine that it plans to put under the hood of its upcoming hypercar, the Aurora.

The mill commands 6.6 liters of displacement and bears the badge of the UK-based Mahle Powertrain. Four compact-sized, low-inertia turbochargers drive it in such a way as to minimize the turbo lag and make the car feel as close to naturally aspirated as possible. Among other things, the engine can rev up to an impressive 9,800 RPM.

The first Zenvo Aurora is scheduled to ship next year.
