Aston Martin Vanquish & DB12 sprout an anniversary special

It’s been six decades since Aston Martin started using the name “Volante” for its convertible lineup, and the company has just announced thematic special editions coming to its Vanquish and DB12 model ranges.

Dubbed the 60th Anniversary of Volante Edition, it sports a distinct green/bronze finish and is limited to just 120 production units (60 of one and 60 of the other). Each car combines a Pentland Green exterior designed by the automaker’s Q division with bronze accents found on the front grille, the billet-aluminum fender vents and the 21-inch wheels, among other places.

The interior looks particularly deluxe with its combo of premium leather upholstery in brown, dark grey and light beige, and dark open-pore nutwood accents. The headrests sport the anniversary edition badges, and bronze-hued applications can be found on a number of controls inside.

The shipments are scheduled to start in Q4 2025 with all prices being kept private. In its stock form, the Vanquish Volante commands a 5.2-liter V12 rated at 835 PS (824 hp / 614 kW). The DB12 Volante (see video) packs a 4.0-liter V8 and 680 PS (671 hp / 500 kW). When it came out in 2013, the first Vanquish Volante was considered the world’s most powerful front-engine roadster.
