Audi joined forces with the tuner MTM to release a limited series of A3 hatchbacks dedicated to Wang Yibo, a China-born singer, actor, dancer, TV host and racing driver. The first vehicle debuted at the Auto Guangzhou expo taking place right now.
The five-door hatch landed with special wheels, a front splitter, widened front air intakes, an impressively sized rear wing, black and green décor and badges throughout. Inside, the front fascia bears the artist’s name, and green stitching livens things up somewhat.
The powertrain makes do without any modifications and corresponds to that of the Audi A3 Sportback 35 TFSI. A 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder hits the wheels with 150 PS (148 hp / 110 kW) and 250 Nm (183 lb-ft) through a seven-speed DCT.
Prices in China begin from 268,500 Yuan, or roughly $40,800 USD.
