CarWOW has posted yet another video on its YouTube channel that got us excited. The team arranged a drag race between a Volvo XC60 Polestar, a BMW X3 M40i and an Audi Q5 55 TFSI e, pitting automotive classics up against cutting-edge tech.
Volvo’s SUV is the most powerful of the bunch at 407 PS (300 kW) and 675 Nm (498 lb-ft) of torque. However, at 2.2 metric tons (4,850 lbs), it is also the heaviest.
The BMW X3 packs a petrol inline-six turbo under the hood, which produces 354 hp (264 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque. It weighs in at around 1.9 metric tons (4,200 lbs).
The Audi plug-in hybrid has 367 hp (274 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque, and it weighs approximately two tonnes (4,400 lbs).
Can the hybrid hold its own against the time-proven classics? Watch the video to find out!
