Audi RS6 Avant transforms into a nice murdered-out family car for road trips

Over the years, the Audi RS6 Avant has transformed from a mundane premium wagon into a true flagship of its lineup – highly comfortable, highly practical, with a healthy 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW) under the hood, it lends itself well to just about any use. Well, Auditography has now shown us that some people want more regardless.

The family hauler depicted here ended up with blacked-out trim accents and tinted lights all around, giving it a dark and menacing appearance. The exterior finish is stock and called ‘Sebring Black Crystal Effect’. A Thule Ski Box on the roof suggests that the owner might be into active leisure.

A Maxton body kit rounds off the look with a front spoiler, side sill extensions, a rear bumper trim, a rear diffuser and a roof spoiler lip. The exhaust tips sticking out of the diffuser belong to a Sportmile exhaust system made in Poland.

The engine doesn’t stay stock, either. A Stage I tune-up kit lets it pump out 700 PS (690 hp / 515 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft) of torque, taking the car from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.09 seconds. The acceleration peaks at 325 km/h (202 mph) – not too shabby for a family car.

The name of the tuning shop responsible for the project was omitted.
