Bentley Mulsanne morphs into a coupe thanks to tuners

Ares Modena has rolled out a Bentley Mulsanne never before seen in the manufacturer’s official lineup. Dubbed the Coupe Sport, it has a significantly modded body and plenty of added equipment on board. Several units will be made, but there are still no specifics regarding the quantity and pricing.

The c-pillars now reside farther to the back so that the front doors can be made wider. The roof is more sloped than before, the c-pillar angle is different and the glass dome at the rear redesigned from scratch. There are aluminum trim pieces on the tail-end, while the new doors and the top are manufactured from carbon fiber. Side sill extensions, a retouched rear bumper and bespoke 22-inch wheels round off the look on the outside.

Inside, the front seats fold down so that you can easily slip into a back seat. As for the trim and equipment options, Ares Modena has an extensive list of those for customers seeking personalization.

Things stay stock from the technical point of view. The 6.7-5liter engine under the hood still drives the wheels with 512 PS (505 hp / 377 kW) and 1,020 Nm (752 lb-ft) of torque through an eight-speed manual transmission. The launch time is not stated, but the stock sedan needs 5.3 seconds to reach 100 km/h (62 mph). We would imagine the coupe being a touch faster thanks to its upgraded aerodynamics and lighter weight.
