BMW and Rimac Technology have signed a long-term cooperation contract.
The main priority for both companies is the development of traction batteries for their respective future EVs. According to the terms of the agreement, BMW is looking forward to gaining access to the high-voltage technologies developed by Rimac. In turn, the Croatian supercar maker hopes to tame its manufacturing costs by increasing production volumes at its factory in Croatia.
At the same time, BMW is getting ready to introduce the market to the sixth generation of its proprietary eDrive technology.
