G83 BMW M4 gets half a dozen power upgrades from G-Power

After releasing a comprehensive upgrade package for the coupe-shaped G82 BMW M4 (see video), G-Power has now followed up with a similar tune-up of the G83 convertible lineup. Customers are choosing from six boost options promising up to 720 metric horsepower.

To put things into perspective, the standard powertrain manages a healthy 530 PS (523 hp / 390 kW) before any tuning. A Stage 1 tuning kit gets it to 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW). It’s fairly affordable at €3,685.

Stage 2 kits are available in three variants rated at 620, 650 and 670 PS (612, 641 and 661 hp; 456, 478 and 493 kW, respectively). These are priced individually based on the components chosen.

Stage 3 comes in at a cool €14,900, but promises 700 PS (690 hp / 516 kW) at the crank. Finally, if you insist on getting the best of the best, the ultimate package will set you back €35,700. It will reward you with the 720 PS (710 hp / 530 kW) quoted above, as well as 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque. That puts the new M4 convertible on par with the likes of Ferrari Enzo and Lamborghini Gallardo.

You can find the tuning on the German aftermarket specialist’s website. It’s called the G4M Bi-Turbo and comes with lots of options, like a carbon front splitter, new bumpers, a rear wing and a redesigned front grille. The interior gets a sporty-looking steering wheel with paddle shifters, branded floor mats and other typical aftermarket accessories.
