Milltek, a company specializing in the production of performance exhaust systems, has presented its latest design on a range-topping BMW M8 Gran Coupé.
In its stock form, the sedan comes equipped with a twin-turbo V8 engine with 4.4 liters of displacement, 625 PS (616 hp / 460 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque at the output end. It goes like you would expect it to, but doesn’t quite sound the part.
This is what Milltek aims to correct with its active-valve system. You can switch presents straight from the car until you are satisfied with the rumble. The only thing to keep in mind is that this particular M8 additionally had its gasoline particle filter deleted, which is also bound to contribute to the final sound profile.
