Bugatti hands the first Centodieci over to its owner

The first Bugatti Centodieci, an $8.8 million supercar combining the Chiron chassis with timeless EB110 aesthetics, has finally reached its owner after a long period of testing and refinement.

Only ten such vehicles will be made, and all have been sold out for years now. The example pictured here is finished in blue and rides on EB110 Sport Silver wheels. If you find the combination unusual, that is because the customer who ordered it keeps a matching EB110 GT original in his garage.

The Centodieci is more than just a reimagined Chiron, however. It is considerably lighter than the source car, comes with substantial chassis improvements and benefits from a different aerodynamic kit. All of the above drastically affects the dynamic performance and driving experience.

Powering the exorbitantly priced exotic is Bugatti’s trademark 8.0-liter W16 quad-turbo’ed to 1,600 PS (1,578 hp / 1,177 kW). The car launches 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 2.4 seconds.
