Check out the world’s largest roof tent for camping

Camping tent and accessory vendor Roofnest has unveiled the second generation of its largest tent for SUVs and pickups, the Condor 2 XXL Air. Advertised as the world’s biggest hardshell tent of its kind, it provides a comfortable sleeping space for up to four adults.

The kit weighs a cool 93 kg (205 lbs) and measures 2,235 x 1,524 mm (88”x60”) when folded. Installing it takes mere seconds, the company says. Once finished, the tent measures 2,590 mm (102”) long, 2,032 mm (80”) wide and up to 1,270 mm (50”) tall. It has four ventilation windows with mosquito nets on them for proper air circulation.

The package also includes a 52mm (2”) thick mattress and a collapsible roof access ladder.

Prices for the new Condor 2 XXL Air start from $4,395 in the United States. Buyers are strongly advised to check whether their truck is robust enough to support the weight of the kit and any planned occupants of the tent.
