Straight after unveiling the new Blazer EV (see video), Chevrolet has followed up with the first preview image of its police version. Based on the top spec called SS and an Ultium battery, it offers a choice between RWD and AWD.
It also boasts Brembo brakes at the front axle in all specifications and a thoroughly redesigned interior suitable for carrying special equipment and gear. However, these are all mere promises at this point, because the only photo we have right now only shows the exterior, complete with a livery and flashing lights.
As announced before, the Blazer SS flagship will ship with two electric motors driving its wheels with 564 PS (557 hp / 416 kW) and 879 Nm (648 lb-ft) of torque. Activating a mode called WOW enables you to sprint to action in less than four seconds.
The Blazer EV SS PPV (Police Patrol Vehicle) will go on sale in Q1 2024, the company says.
