The Chevy Corvette family has welcomed a new member – the first fully GT3-compliant racecar named the Z06 GT3.R. It debuted at the 24 Hours of the Daytona, but won’t be coming to the racetrack until the same race next season.
The automaker claims the car is fully FIA-certified and co-designed with Pratt Miller Engineering. It utilizes the same base as the street-legal Z06 model, but benefits from custom per-wheel suspension, racing-grade shock absorbers and springs, original 18-inch wheels, a sophisticated body kit and C8.R brakes.
