Citroen C3 Aircross goes automatic

Four months after its debut, the new Citroen C3 Aircross has received a two-pedal version.

The car was exhibited at the latest auto show in Indonesia. It had an Aisin six-speed auto gearbox connected to the same entry-level 1.2-liter turbo engine as the manual version. In this new specification, the power stays at a low 110 PS (108 hp / 81 kW), but the torque goes up from 190 to 205 Nm (from 140 to 151 lb-ft).

Local sales are scheduled to begin in September. Later this fall, the C3 Aircross is expected to arrive in Europe.
