A car enthusiast known as jeremyspoint on YouTube has unveiled his latest creation, a remote-controlled 1:8 replica of the famous time machine from Back to the Future.
The project is based on an Eaglemoss kit that already included all the necessary parts, even the ‘flux capacitor’ and the ‘nuclear reactor’. The original replica wasn’t radio-controlled, but the video explains how it was upgraded to one.
In the end, jeremyspoint had a DeLorean DMC-12 scale model with fully controllable wheels, functional doors and trunk, and flashy backlight. It was even retrofitted with a miniature smoke machine and a speaker reproducing the engine soundtrack of the original Time Machine.
