Stellantis Group in-house tuner Mopar has prepared option packages for the latest Dodge Charger and Challenger as a means of saying farewell to the two iconic muscle cars. Both cost $3,995 and do not include any technical upgrades. Only 220 sedans and 220 coupes will be made in total – 400 to be sold in the USA and 40 in Canada.
Both special editions come finished in black with no other options and are decorated with a broad matte stripe running from the hood to the trunk lid. The radiator grille has blue ‘Mopar’ lettering on it, and the brake calipers are painted to match it. Both cars get a special carbon-fiber rear spoiler.
The interior has not been shown yet, but the press release mentions a trim package called Carbon Suede, which puts Alcantara on the ceiling and carbon fiber trim bits all around the cabin.
The production is set to begin in September.
