Venuum proposes a styling upgrade for Ferrari’s embattled Luce EV

The launch of Ferrari’s first fully electric supercar hasn’t gone smoothly at all, with some critics praising the bravery of the Prancing Horse company and others, like Carwow’s Matt Watson, openly bashing it for half-baked exterior design (see video). As one would expect in a situation like this, tuners rushed in to try and fix things with aftermarket aero.

The example in the gallery here comes from a tuning company named Venuum headquartered in Dubai, UAE. All images are virtual 3D renderings, but there’s no doubt that the kit will go into production as long as it gathers enough preorders from interested customers.

The proposed add-ons include a more pronounced front splitter, side canards, flared fenders at all four corners, and longer side sills. The air vents behind the front wheel arches are also carbon-trimmed now, a stylistic tradeoff that we still find a bit better than the Luce’s own gloss-black trim.

A glance at the rear end reveals a fixed wing and a fairly aggressive diffuser. The wheels are new, too, trading the clean and laconic five-spoke OEM design for a multi-spoke aftermarket one. We’ll leave it up to you to decide whether that’s an improvement.

Perhaps best of all, Venuum proposes maintaining the whole exterior in a solid matte black with only the yellow brake calipers and Ferrari badges left for contrast.

Commenting on the tune-up, the company admitted that it the platform was “difficult” to work with, but also a “challenge” the likes of which tuners are meant to rise up to.

The question is, how do you like it?
