Ursa Motor Vehicles, a U.S.-based vendor of camping products for SUVs and pickups, has finally released a rooftop tent for the Ford Bronco. The catch? It costs $11,500 and requires you to dismantle the original roof.
Listed as the model B30, it comes with replacement panels for the roof and the rear quarter windows. If you want them back, you can order rear quarter glass for $550 extra. When folded, the tent is only 180 mm (7 inches) tall. The company argues that it looks slimmer and more aesthetically pleasing than traditional rail-mounted rooftop tents.
Options include painting the top of the tent to match the body of your Bronco ($1,200) or painting the whole tent ($2,700). A 76-mm (3-inch) mattress adds $250 to the total, and you can get some storage pockets and a cargo light for $150. Last but not least, the tent is compatible with the company’s awning options.
You can already order the B30 with nationwide or international shipping.
