The new Ford Mustang is not that far away now, but it looks like the company is not finished with the current generation. A black-out package is coming to the market soon, and customers are invited to make up their own name for it.
Name suggestions should be submitted online at go.mustangwithnoname.com until June 7, 2022. The company asks for original English names with no offensive or inappropriate subtext. The winner will be notified via e-mail and duly rewarded.
The competition looks a bit strange when you consider that the upcoming upgrade is nothing more than a black accent package and that Ford has never showed it in any great detail – except for a couple of teaser pics, that is.
In the meantime, the next generation of the Mustang is under development, and sometimes gets caught on camera testing on the streets (watch the video if you haven’t seen it yet). The launch date remains penciled in for April 17, 2023.
