UK-based company Coleman Milne specializes in building two main types of vehicles: limousines and catafalques. Guess what it did when it got its hands on two Ford Mustang Mach-E SUVs.
Both project vehicles are called ‘Etive’ and feature a wheelbase stretched from 2,984 to 4,084 mm (from 116.5 to 159.5 inches). The stretch limo is 5,835 mm (228 inches) long and flaunts two extra doors, as well as a roof raised to 1,624 mm (63.4 inches). The passenger space seats seven people and is separated from the driver’s cabin with a partition wall.
The hearse is even larger than that at 6,279 mm (245.2 inches) long and 1,952 mm (76.25 inches) tall. It features a glass pod at the back with a slide-out platform for coffins and three individual seats at the front end, each with a safety belt.
Both Etive cars have 18-inch wheels, a 10.2-inch digital dash, a 15.5-inch infotainment screen and a reversing camera. The trim is identical at the front: black leather goes along with grey stitching.
The 75.7-kilowatt-hour traction battery is stock, but the company expects both cars to cover only around 322 km (200 miles) on full charge due to the added weight. The original range of the Mach-E is 440 km (273 miles).
Coleman Milne says it will first be sending both vehicles for extensive road tests and will only start sales once they have put 65,000 km (40,000 miles) behind them.
