Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 becomes 58 percent stronger thanks to tuners

The Shelby GT500 is as extreme as the modern Ford Mustang gets unless you count all the limited editions, but someone reckoned 771 PS (760 hp / 566 kW) was still not good enough and invested $50,000+ in tuning. Here is the result.

The muscle car, which was produced in 2021, ended up with an all-carbon body kit and lightweight wheels. Most importantly, though, it also underwent a complete drivetrain overhaul with the focus on performance. The work involved upgrading the intake system, injection, exhaust, cooling, fuel lines and the supercharger. The latter ended up with 3.8 liters of own volume – nearly 50% larger than stock. When all was said and done, the car slammed the rear wheels with 1,200 PS (1,184 hp / 883 kW) and 1,222 Nm (900 lb-ft) of torque.

Despite lacking AWD, the ‘Stang successfully hits 100 km/h (62 mph) from standstill in 2.5 seconds, demonstrating performance on par with the Bugatti Veyron. Check out the video to see what it looks like.
