Ford Ranger Raptor gets swapped to 760 PS Down Under

Australian auto shop Killa Conversions is offering an engine swap for the local EcoBoost 3.0-based Ranger Raptor that sees its output go up by 350 horsepower.

The company sources a 5.0-liter V8 from a Ford Mustang for the conversion and tops it up with a Roush supercharger. As a result, the output rises from the original 411 PS (405 hp / 302 kW) all the way to 760 PS (750 hp / 559 kW). The torque maxes out at 910 Nm (670 lb-ft). A special, reinforced 10-speed automatic transmission handles the momentum.

As one would expect, upgrades on this level aren’t cheap. A new Ranger Raptor starts around AUD 90,000 in Australia (USD 57,600). The swap will set you back another AUD 89,000 (USD 57,000), essentially doubling the price. A mint Ford F-150 Raptor R might have been a better investment if it were available on the Southern continent, but it isn’t.
