YouTuber AwesomeWoodcraft has a slew of videos showing him turn mundane pieces of wood into legendary vehicles, and the latest one is dedicated to the GMC Hummer EV, an electric pickup desired by many an American. Let’s take a look!
As usual, the work begins with a few wooden bricks that the artisan first cut into shape and then spent a long time grinding and sanding until they started to resemble the bodywork of a truck. It may be just a wooden replica, but it has doors that swing open, a removable top and even a pair of large dashboard displays. A special treat comes in the form of a tailgate that neatly unfolds into a ladder, just like the original one.
The black accents at the bottom are meant to imitate skid plates. The silvery strokes at the front end are for the headlights, and the red ones in the back are for the taillights. Even the suspension is actually implemented!
