2025 Honda Civic teased for the first time

The current Honda Civic generation debuted in 2021 (see video) but is already getting ready for a facelift, as evidenced by these official previews.

The automaker does not reveal any details so far. Judging by the images showing the sedan version, it gets a slightly more aggressive front bumper with redesigned side trims, new air intake inserts and a revised radiator grille pattern. Honda had earlier promised to upgrade the technical specifications as well, but never clarified which ones.

For the first time in the United States, the car will be available with a hybrid powertrain based on a 2.0-liter engine. The same powertrain has been on sale in Europe since 2022. It comprises a total of three motors for a combined 184 PS (181 hp / 135 kW), as well as 315 Nm (232 lb-ft) of torque.

Speaking about features, we’d expect an infotainment system upgrade as well. In all likelihood, Honda will give the new Civic the latest infotainment version found in the Accord.
