Based on the data from the Ministry of Industry, the Hyundai Ioniq V will combine an otherworldly appearance with underwhelming dynamic performance.
The whole car is 4,900 mm (192.9 inches) long, 1,890 mm (74.4 inches) wide and 1,470 mm (57.9 inches) tall with 2,900 mm (114.2 inches) between the axles. It rides on 17-inch wheels by default, although other options may become available at launch.
All propulsion is handled by a single e-motor rated at either 190 or 228 PS (187 or 225 hp; 140 or 168 kW, respectively). Paying for the high-power option will net you a top speed of 165 km/h (102 miles per hour). CATL provides the Ioniq V with an 800-volt lithium-iron-phosphate battery pack, but its specifications remain to be revealed.
Back at the Auto China show, Hyundai announced a 27-inch infotainment display for this EV along with an AI-powered voice assistant and an ADAS package from Momenta. The launch date and the pricing are still unknown.
