Production-ready Kia PV5 teased before premiere

Kia will debut a new commercial vehicle named the PV5 on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Check out the video for an earlier concept version.

The PV5 is envisioned as a general-purpose delivery van and minibus, but Kia says more specialized body styles may be added in the future. Compared to the traditional representatives of this market segment, it stands out thanks to a single-spacer design, a minimal front overhang and an impressively big glass dome. There are even small quarter-panel windows near the a-pillars.

The headlights consist of four sections. The vertical ones are the DRLs, while the horizontal ones integrated in a bulky bumper are the headlights. A charging port door can be seen in the middle.

On the whole, the near-production PV5 looks almost identical to its concept predecessor except for minor details, like door handles. We will be able to take a closer look at it this Thursday.
