Italian tuning company Ares Modena has presented the Panther Evo, a supercar that combines Lamborghini Huracan underpinnings with an exterior inspired by the legendary De Tomaso Pantera. Launch dates and pricing have yet to be revealed.
The project to release a modern interpretation of the Pantera started back in 2019 (see video). A new design stage saw the exterior seriously modified with the rear end in particular getting new LED taillights, a different bumper and a retro engine bay lid.
In an earlier design iteration, the interior was stock Huracan. Now, however, the steering wheel and the center console are custom and the trim is different, too.
A 5.2-liter V10 still delivers 650 PS (640 hp / 478 kW) to the wheels, taking the supercar from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.1 seconds and ultimately to the 325 km/h (202 mph) top speed.
