Now Official: Turning your Land Rover Defender into a convertible costs €85k+

Last spring, Heritage Customs announced a customization program named Valiance for the latest generation of the Land Rover Defender. Its biggest selling feature was a power-assisted soft top. The company has now delivered its second Valiance Convertible along with revealing the associated expenses.

The off-roader was given a vivid yellow exterior with black accents in the form of both bumpers, side sills, and the roll cage. Sporty-looking silver wheels slotted into the arches. The result is a rather exotic look for the British SUV, which normally wears much more subdued, less contrasty colors.

Inside, the seats were re-trimmed with black quilted leather and adorned with yellow stitching. The same treatment extended to the steering wheel and the dashboard, resulting in a coherent and premium look for the cabin. A polished aluminum trim landed on the passenger’s side of the dashboard, possibly just for the sake of having an accent there.

Price-wise, Heritage Customs processes orders starting from €85,000. That’s for the conversion alone, meaning you are supposed to supply your own Defender. You can freely choose the soft top color and customize other things, but the company warns that it will not mess with the powertrain.
