Maextro, a luxury vehicle brand co-founded between Huawei and JAC Group, has posted some certification photos of its second production vehicle. It’s a van known as the V800, slated for launch in the second half of the year.
The V800 is 5,495 mm (216.3 inches) long, 2,006 mm (79 inches) wide and 1,850 mm (72.8 inches) tall with 3,430 mm (135 inches) between the axles. It can be optioned with either six or seven seats arranged in three rows, and there are as many as five wheel designs to choose from. Two-tone exterior finishes are also available, or even three-tone if you count the contrasting roof.
From the powertrain perspective, the V800 is a range-extender hybrid that utilizes a 1.5-liter engine with 173 PS (171 hp / 127 kW) to produce more power for the e-motors. The front e-motor sends 218 PS (215 hp / 160 kW) to the asphalt, and the rear one sends 313 PS (309 hp / 230 kW). Once fully charged, the 63-kWh battery on board delivers up to 275 kilometers (171 miles) according to the relatively strict WLTC measurement standard.
