Meet the Togg T10F, an electric sedan made in Turkey

Turkish automaker Togg, whose portfolio currently consists of a single electric SUV – the T10X – came to the CES expo earlier this week with a pre-production version of a new electric car, the T10F. The company plans to start selling it on the domestic market and in Europe before the end of the year, Automotive News reports.

By 2032, Togg plans to sell at least a million vehicles in the Old World countries. The new T10F is a sedan with 2,890 mm (112.9 inches) of wheelbase and independent suspension. Its body structure makes active use of high-tensile steels, and its smooth and understated exterior gives it a low drag ratio (under 0.23, per the manufacturer).

When it ships in late 2024, the Togg T10F will be available in three main flavors. The base spec will use a single e-motor with 218 PS (215 hp / 160 kW) at the rear axle and have just 350 km (217 miles) of WLTP-rated range.

The middle spec will bump up battery size to 88.5 kilowatt-hours and enjoy up to 600 km (372 miles) of range. Finally, the top spec will utilize two motors to hit the wheels with 435 PS (429 hp / 320 kW). It will hit 100 km/h (62 mph) from standstill in 4.6 seconds, but will run out of charge after 530 km (330 miles) due to increased power consumption.

Charging from 20 to 80 percent will take 28 minutes, the company says. Interestingly, the EV is being specifically designed to win five out of five NCAP stars for safety. To that end, Togg plans to pack it full of modern safety assist systems.

Germany sits at the top of the export countries list for the Togg T10F. Later on, the car will arrive in France, Italy, Sweden and the Netherlands.
