Here is the latest G-Class AMG off-roader reworked by aftermarket shop Mansory for a customer. Along with a unique body paint and a vivid light blue interior, the SUV makes use of an extreme engine upgrade.
The exterior finish is called Algorithmic Fade and goes along with Mansory’s own body kit for the G-Wagon. There are door moldings, wheel arch extensions, a rather imposing hood, a light bar above the windshield, and a roof spoiler, among other things. Many of these components are made from carbon fiber. The wheels are also non-OEM and measure 24 inches in size.
The interior is awash with a turquoise shade that splashes over onto the floor and the ceiling. There is a Mansory steering wheel installed, and the rear seat row features new seats with a center console between them.
In terms of power, the SUV relies on a tuned version of its 4.0-liter V8 TT engine fitted with new turbochargers, exhaust system and electronics. What used to be 585 PS (577 hp / 430 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque becomes 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW) and 1,000 Nm (738 lb-ft). Bolstered like this, the body off-roader sprints 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.5 seconds instead of 4.5 and maxes out at 250 km/h (155 mph), considerably above the usual 220 km/h (136 mph).
As always, Mansory promises unlimited customization opportunities for its project cars. All pricing is private.
