Mansory tunes up the Mercedes-AMG SL 63

Mansory has gotten its hands on the recently launched Mercedes-AMG SL 63 and made the flagship even more worthy of that title with two different tuning kits.

The details aren’t all there yet, but we already know that the sports car will conclude its standard sprint in 3.2 seconds with the greater of the two packages installed. The stock launch time is 0.4 seconds longer than that.

The photos published thus far suggest a rather modest design makeover. The bumper gets new details and carbon-fiber applications, the hood cover gets a more sculpted look, the side sills become more pronounced and there is a new diffuser at the back. Rounding off the look are 22-inch wheels.

The display car wears a black paint coat with yellow accents, while the cabin is awash with white leather. Even the seat belts and the tuner logos are white all around.

Two tuning kits will be available, dubbed P720 and P850. While not official yet, we assume that both numbers reference the metric horsepower. Mansory reveals that the top version will be able to accelerate to 332 km/h (206 mph), which is 7 km/h or 4.5 mph faster than stock. Either way, substantial modifications will be made to the standard 4.0-liter V8 with its 585 PS (577 hp / 430 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque.
