A custom 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse sporting a Corvette-like body conversion is up for grabs in the Philippines right now. The asking price is 1.2 million Pesos.
The Japanese cabriolet is barely recognizable under all the aftermarket parts. The front bumper and the hood are new, the fenders are generously flared, and the rear end boasts a new diffuser and quad exhaust pipes. The lights and the wheels all around are new as well.
Based on the photos, the car is a two-seater now because the rear row was apparently deleted to make room for some high-end speakers. The listing claims it is driven by a modern multimedia system, so the sound should be up to scratch. What remains unknown is whether there are any powertrain mods.
Back in its prime time, the Eclipse was available with a four-cylinder engine and a superior 3.0-liter V6. The Corvette impersonator seen here packs the latter, so it should be good for 218 PS (215 hp / 160 kW) or so. The standard transmission is four-speed automatic.
