Saleen celebrates 35th birthday with a 780 hp Ford Mustang special series

Tuner Saleen Automotive has chosen to celebrate its 35th anniversary by releasing a small series of Ford Mustang muscle cars, called the SA 35. The special edition has both new looks and an engine upgrade.

The team started with a 2019 Black Label Mustang as base. The car was painted black with contrasty white and yellow bits throughout. It also sports a new hood with wide air slits, a new front bumber, a moderately sized rear wing attachment, fenders, a sport exhaust and forged wheels wrapped in General G-Max performance tires.

Judging by the sketches, the interior of the vehicle now houses black leather seats with vertical yellow stripes and white stitching. The same color scheme extends to the door panels and floor mats, and there is a custom infotainment system bearing the Saleen logo.

The stock 5,0-liter engine of the car got a supercharger upgrade, bringing its total performance to 780 hp (582 kW) and 853 Nm (629 lb×ft) of torque. To further emphasize the sporty character of the vehicle, the tuners gave it low-stanced Racecraft R Code suspension.

The Black Label Ford Mustang SA 35 Series by Saleen will consist of only 10 cars. Prices will be available later.
