BMW M5 by G-Power confirmed to deliver 800+ HP

At first, there was no engine power information available for the BMW M5 tuning kit introduced by German tuner G-Power a few months ago. Today, we may finally look at the figures and conclude whether the package is worth its money.

In its production version, the car comes equipped with a 4.4-liter V8 engine rated at 600 hp (447 kW) and 750 Nm (553 lb×ft) of torque. The Stage 1 upgrade brings these up to 700 hp (522 kW) and 840 Nm (620 lb×ft) of torque. The Stage 2 kit adds another 50 hp and 80 Nm for a total of 750 hp (559 kW) and 920 Nm (679 lb×ft) of torque. The top-of-the-line Stage 3 comes with 800 hp (596 kW) and 980 Nm (723 lb×ft) of torque.

Once fully upgraded, the BMW M5 by G-Power accelerates 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in mere 2.9 seconds and can ultimately hit 335 km/h (208 mph).

The upgrade itself is comprised of reworked turbochargers, a new titanium exhaust system with carbon tailpipes, and an ECU remap. The entire package costs €22,500 without installation, plus €773 for the speed limiter removal.
