French tuner turns the Lamborghini Espada retro car into a hot rod

The Lamborghini Espada is a rare classical coupe that used to be produced in 1968–1978. As far as we know, only 1,217 copies of the car came out. As such, it can be hard to say why French tuning shop French Danton Arts Kustoms picked it for a hot rod conversion. Why not choose something like the modern Gallardo or Huracan?...

The answer lies in the number of seats. The new Lamborghini tourers invariably offer two seats, while the Espada offers four.

The conversion proved to be a great challenge, but the Danton Arts Kustoms team rose up to the task like heroes. They have chopped the roof, redesigned the front part from scratch and removed the rear window. Despite these transformations, the Espada Hot Rod still looks a lot like its donor vehicle.

Among other things, the car gained a set of red/black GOVAD rims wrapped in Michelin tires and an exposed 3.9-liter V12 engine rated at 325 hp (242 kW).

We really like what the French tuner ended up with. And what would you say?
