Hennessey Performance once again shows off the upgraded Jeep Trackhawk

U.S.-based car tuner Hennessey Performance has uploaded another video demonstrating the potential of its HPE1000 power kit for the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk.

It should be noted that the Jeep Trackhawk comes equipped with a potent 6.2-liter V8 Hellcat engine straight off the factory. It is even capable of holding its own against certain supercars in a drag race. But the sky’s the limit, right?

Once upgraded with the HPE1000 kit, the bulky off-roader goes up to some crazy 1,012 hp (755 kW) and 1,314 Nm (969 lb×ft) of torque, which turns it into a veritable sports car. It accelerates 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in trifling 2.7 seconds and finished the quarter-mile drag strip in 10.7 seconds.

If a thousand horses under the hood isn’t enough horses for you, Hennessey Performance offers another kit, called the HPE1200. It brings along ridiculous 1,200 hp (895 kW) and 1,356 Nm (1,000 lb×ft) and enables the car to cover the quarter-mile in 9.66 seconds.
