A Retirement Gift: Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake by Prior Design

As it turns out, German car tuner Prior Design released a superb wide body kit called PDV4 for the Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake this summer. Let’s have a closer look at what you might have missed.

The body kit contains special fender flares with gill-shaped air openings, a front spoiler add-on, a new front apron in the Mercedes-AMG style, a more soild rear bumper, a diffusor and AMG exhaust tips.

Prior Design also equipped the large estate car with a set of 20-inch PD4 aluminum wheels and lowered the suspension. Wrapping up the changes are numerous carbon/aluminum decorative parts found throughout the entire body.

Take a good, long look at this Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake: you won’t be seeing the Shooting Brake body type in the upcoming update of the CLS line. A shame, really: we here at FormaCar tend to think it is one of the most successful Mercedes designs ever.
