Jaguar XE update scheduled for premiere in March 2019

Based on the recently leaked spy photos, car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover has begun testing the facelifted Jaguar XE sedan series on public roads. Automotive news media around the world tend to agree that the car may be ready to premiere at the Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland in March 2019.

If the photos are any indication of the final design of the car, it will be getting refreshed lighting design, new bumpers and certain design features borrowed from the I-Pace SUV.

The facelifted Jaguar XE might also end up with a self-drive feature and an advanced infotainment system.

No technical data is officially available to date, but rumors suggest the car might get a version equipped with a hybrid powertrain.

Once out of the factory, the new Jaguar will have to compete with the BMW 3 Series, the Alfa Romeo Giulia and the Audi A4 in their market segment.
