Severn Valley Motorsport shows a 700-hp Nissan Juke

The Nissan Juke mini-SUV has everything going for it: it is good-looking, a joy to handle and reasonably priced to boot. The only gripe there is to be had concerns its somewhat lackluster ‘hi-end’ engine, which only manages to deliver around 218 hp (163 kW) and 250 Nm (184 pound-feet) of torque to the wheels. Here is where Severn Valley Motorsport comes into play, though.

The tuner’s latest creation is called Nissan Juke-R SVM 700R and is essentially a 700-horsepower (522-kilowatt) version of the Juke. Impressed yet? Naturally, the team couldn’t quite boost the stock engine of the car to that kind of output, so they went ahead and ditched it for a racecar engine sourced from a Nissan GT-R. Needless to say, they had to follow it up with substantial changes in the transmission and AWD system. As a result, the modded Nissan Juke can challenge such giants as the BMW X5M or the Mercedes GLE 63s AMG.

To make it clear that we’re dealing with a tuned ride here, Severn Valley Motorsport gave the car a custom carbon body kit consisting of a broader front apron with an integrated spoiler, huge fender flares, a two-piece roof spoiler, and a diffusor.

The Japanese SUV also gained a custom-made sport exhaust system, heavy-duty brakes, a coilover suspension, and black forged rims wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.

The interior of the car now sports racing seats with Sabelt belts, a roll cage, branded floor mats and a Nissan GT-R steering wheel.
