Man buys Porsche 911 LEGO kit, ends up with Lancia Stratos

Ashley Winston, a car enthusiast from Great Britain, has used a Lego Technic Porsche 911 GT3 RS set to assemble… a Lancia Stratos, what else!?

Seriously, the legendary classic car took slightly over 2,700 parts to complete, but the result almost looks like the real thing. It even has rear window moldings, a spoiler and a highly detailed interior with bucket seats, a dashboard and a tiny gear selector.

The original toy brick set enables you to build a 1:18 replica of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Once finished, it is quite a bit of fun to play with, given its functioning brakes, transmission, suspension and some parts of the engine.
