Mercedes S-Class ascends to Maybach level of brilliance

It seems like Hofele Design wanted to turn a regular Mercedes S-Class (W222) into a Maybach S650 (X222) a while ago. Today, the tuner came out with the finished car, and it doesn’t take an expert to see that the project is a great success.

As you can tell from the photos, the front part of the car now wears chrome elements that make it look like its senior sibling. The Mercedes star was removed in favor of the Hofele badge. Moving on to the rear, there are also multiple stylish chrome inserts alongside with Maybach-inspired tailpipes.

The body of the Mercedes S-Class is painted Obsidian Black with its trunk and part of the roof in Tiffany Gold. It rides on a set of Hofele Mythos rims sporting a traditional silvery finish.

The tuner did not neglect the opportunity to make over the entire interior space of the car, either. It now uses bountiful amounts of genuine leather and even houses custom floor mats. Most importantly, the S-Class by Hofele does look like the opulent Maybach S650. Wouldn’t you agree?
